This diatribe is a microcosm of everything that is wrong with conservative christians and the Republican party. While campaigning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Rick Santorum was introduced by Dennis Terry, a Baptist fundamentalist christian preacher who railed against Buddha, Allah, and liberals and told them to “get out” of the country. Notice Rick Santorum standing and clapping at the end. Afterwards Santorum claimed he “wasn’t quite listening” to what the pastor was saying.
